Where You Invest Your Love, You Invest Your Life

“In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die.
Where you invest your love, you invest your life”
― Mumford & Sons

Mumford & Sons is one of my favorite bands to this day. They aren’t just different than the rest of the music out there, but their lyrics are so powerful.

Music has always meant so much to me. I grew up playing the flute, being introduced to different genres of music, and finding my own taste. I like a lot that’s out there because it’s catchy, has good beats, and/or has good lyrics. I try to listen to music at least once a day — if I’m driving and I have the radio on, a CD in my car, or catch something on YouTube when I have free time at home. It always drags me out of a foul mood and puts me into a content or happy one. I’m constantly looking for new bands/artists to listen to so I can follow more music. I recently started listening to Passenger, which is a really great feel-good band. I’m really loving the creativity people use when writing their music. Music is just one thing in life that I could never do without. It gets me through life.

  1. I’m exactly alike with you in music. It makes me feel the same way! We have similar taste 🙂 Do you like Arctic Monkeys, Matt and Kim, Delta Spirit, the Mowgli’s, Walk the Moon or Imagine Dragons?

What do you think?
